β¨ How Children Learn β¨
Children learn when they feel safe and supported.
They learn when their nervous systems are calm.
They learn when their bodies have rhythm, hydration, and consistency.
They learn best in environments that honor their whole being: body, mind, and emotions.
β¨ Children thrive when movement is meaningful... when it prepares their brains and bodies to feel safe, focused, and ready to learn. This workshop will share Movement that Matters: adaptable, science-backed tools and simple, powerful movements you can bring into your classroom, your home, and your daily rhythm.
Through these practices, youβll discover ways to nurture:
π± Sensory integration: helping children organize and respond to the world around them
π Social-emotional learning: building resilience, focus, and emotional regulation
π Neurodivergent support: honoring the unique pathways of every child
